Kenneth Jensen 1907-1993

 

Kenneth H. Jenson, 86, 1205 N.E. 4th St., Washington, died unexpectedly, at his home at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 1993.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Poindexter-Hall-McClure Funeral Home, Washington, with the Revs. Douglas Wallace and R. P. Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Odon.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Masonic memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1907 at Clay City to Harry and Pearl Molter Jensen. He married Mable Dillon and she preceded him in death in January of 1988. He was a school teacher, basketball coach and principal at Odon High School for nine years and was principal at Washington High School retiring in 1972. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Glendale Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite of Evansville. He attended Indiana Central and was a graduate of Indiana University. He did Post Doctoral study at Indiana University.

Surviving are one son, Carl Jensen, Avondale, Colo. and one granddaughter. One sister, Grace Bain has died.  (Nov. 13, 1993)
