Evelyn Hilbert 1925-2015
Evelyn G. Hilbert, 90, of Loogootee, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Daviess Community Hospital.
She was born February 9, 1925 in Loogootee, IN to the late Charles and Nellie Hilbert.
Evelyn was a teacher for 20 years in the Loogootee and Washington School Systems. After retirement she was a substitute teacher for 10 years in the Loogootee and Shoals School Systems.
She was an avid crafter and played piano at the Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the Loogootee Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nellie Hilbert and brother, Palmer Hilbert. Evelyn is survived by her nephew, Kevin Hilbert.
